John, im not smart enough to know how to do it by pencil and paper ;) I have had a few attempts at googling on how to perform the necessary calculations to find what x^y is, but I im not quite sure what I am searching for, so haven't found many decent search results.
Raul, I had a feeling that one of the results was an approximate result, but wanted to throw the question to the mailing list to see the responses. I have been looking in the J docs to find a description of a number with an x following it - such as 100x, so I could read up on it.
