J does fine with this problem, except in the sense that the problem itself
is rather stupid and pointless.

More specifically, J provides much better tools for dealing with arithmetic
and for dealing with sequences, and any application which needs to
deal with such issues would be better served using J's built in
tools than using this tedious rube goldberg mechanism.
