On my Mac with Tiger OSX I cannot seem to make FireFox work at all
with the APL fonts. With Safari apl385 also did not work, but I had a
copy of aplnet and it works pretty well with the apl fonts, but a
peculiar thing happens with the page referred to by Tracy Harms and
Bill Lam. The bullets on the page look like apl thorns and the smart
double quotes look like numeric upgrade and downgrade. Also on the
full text page, the title has a ceiling character and the smart quotes
are also grades. But mostly, the apl is very readable in the full text
page. Go figure.

I am not suggesting that anyone, especially Roger, change anything
about the fonts. I am merely reporting my experience in case it might
help others.

I would like a summary of the paper for dummies like me. I will try to
get it started. It seems that the order of processing for inner
product is being rethought. It appears that my lack of familiarity
with the concept of "g[0]" and "times[0]" in the row-at-a-time example
is severely limiting my understanding, so far.
