Seems to work ok for me.
I downloaded the script.
Loaded it, displaying the grid.
Edited the grid.
Clicked the "Save Grid" button to create GRID_base_
GRID_base_ in the session now shows the whole grid.
2 2 {. Shows the first 2 columns of the first 2 rows
