There were a lot of electrons perturbed in this discussion, so I could see how you might've missed where I noted that I was taking my cues on the implementation effort from you and from Roger, and where I laid out a technical approach I might take, in broad strokes. I'm not certain what this means, but certainly I was trying to judge the value of a technical effort, before I actually engaged in that technical effort. From Roger's responses, it seems that value would not be very great, and so at this point I'm even unsure of how much more rhetoric I'm prepared to engage in. On the other hand, this does sound like a fun project, and J reflection and algebraic manipulation is up my alley. But so are a lot of other things I never get around to.... -Dan ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
