Fantastic idea! Let's add this to [1]:

        15!:6   y    -  Memory address of locale entry for (boxed) name
        15!:7   y   -   Set name to address header (e.g. name=:15!:7 header)

I'm not kidding;  15!:6  is a very useful facility and I've found numerous 
needs for it.

PS:  A little J archaeology reveals there used to be a  15!:12  .  Here's line 
103 from an ancient version of JMF.ijs:

        x=. 15!:12 y.                 NB. 3 col integer matrix

Does anyone remember what 15!:12 did, or what its inputs and outputs were?
