It looks like someone has created a J specific extension (JPF) for J plot files that is not the same as the more widely used JPEG2000 JPF files.
From the wiki: J plot files (*.jpf) are normal plots, that are written to file with the jpf command. Parameters are filename and size. For example: Thanks for the pointer.
