Ah... just "5 <= Linux", please.  It's a generic marker for
all Unix systems.  (That's why I selected the expression as
the image-detesting logo for the juggle.gaertner.de pages.)

It's easy to make non-portable J programs.  (That's why I nitpick.)

I regularly (and mostly) use J on FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris,
and OS X besides Linux, all "5".  Don't jump to wrong conclusions
what is or is not possible with 2!:0 or available on the disk when
you get a 5 from 9!:12.

Something related that has been bugging me for years is that
the output format of 9!:14 is essentially undefined.  Features
and bugs come and go with one version, sometimes one needs to
check for those.  The 'a/b/c' format is well-known but there
are few guarantees.  (I have already shot into my own foot
because I was assuming too much about "a" alone at one or two
points in the past.)
