I can appreciate that position - my motivation for "G is mostly drawn from the 
Wiki discussion linked earlier (and the Forum messages it references).

But yes, these are all exploratory concepts now.  If we're going to redefine " 
to be more useful, we need some good, realistic motivating examples to decide 
what would be more useful.

Can you think of any, or does your J codebase contain any instances of   "(   ?
