Pressing Esc to close a window is not a window manager shortcut.  Special
code must be written in a particular to enable this behavior. GTKIDE has
done that but felidae (and other demos that I have written) do not.  Only
GTKIDE will ever reference EscClose.

You can still use shortcut key provided by window manager to close a
window. eg. Alt-F4 in window.
