0xc2a0 or   looks likes it's a non-breaking space in UTF-8. If you're using JHS, I would suggest checking to make sure that the browser is treating the encoding as UTF-8. Perhaps also the save process is changing the encoding in the file, or the (changed) file encoding isn't being read correctly by the browser? I use JHS with Safari and haven't experienced this...
