That's pretty amazing progress in very little time! Very promising.

I think I initially misunderstood the implications of this though. If
I understand correctly this won't really compete with JHS as a
cross-platform lightweight interface for running J locally. The Gtk
binaries will have to be installed on the computer running/hosting J.
However where J is being hosted by a remote server, clients
interacting with that J server can have a Gtk-drawn interface in their
browser without having the Gtk binaries installed on their machine.
