The issue I was guessing about (that I had thought you might have raised) was that I. treats the equality case the same way it treats the case where the right argument is less than the left argument. But to even begin to grapple with this issue would require going deeply into how the bits in the result of ?0 get generated. That said, if there is a bias, you could reverse it using -.
