I rely on "13 :" a lot to help me combine pieces I want to apply en-masse
using each:

   13 : 'x+6*y'
[ + 6 * ]
   P ([ + 6 * ]) &.> A
+----+-------+
|8 14|4 10 16|
+----+-------+
