This posting may be a little astray of this thread, butt...

I went to the local Apple store this week with the intent of
installing J7 on one of their mac mini's and was mostly unable to
confirm that Lion and J7 are compatible. I was successful at making
the jconsole produce the desired result for `i. 5`, but could not test
jgtk because the store macs cannot download applications of that sort.

If I were to download the J7 .dmg to a flash drive and carry that to
the Apple store, would I have any better luck in testing the
installation? Or, better yet, has anyone already installed J7 on a Mac
with Lion OS?
