This capability is improving all the time.

Perhaps the break character should be on a space so we have word wrapping 
rather than character wrapping.  If the gtk widgets enable that it would be 
a further improvement.

The grounds for favouring the change are the same as for turning off j 
highlighting for other file types.  Words are usually the natural units for 
text.
