Your workaround was successful for my setup. plotdemos works fine with FF8 now.
I tried plotdemos 22 on IE8. It ran for several minutes and then displayed a partial version of the plot, with most of the b/w plot and 1/2 of the color plot. plotdemo 7 does not display the Dots on FF8, IE8 or IE9: http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/DavidMitchell?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=FF8+Plot+Demo+7.png The surface plots appear to have less resolution on IE8 than IE9 or FF8: http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/DavidMitchell?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=FF8+Plot+Demo+54.png http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/DavidMitchell?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=IE8+Plot+Demo+54.png On 12/3/2011 10:52, bill lam wrote: > Apparently FF8 requires response headers otherwise rendered document as plain > text file, > workaround added, please update JAL. > > Did plotdemos 22 run ok on IE8.
