The JHS jijxipad form is not really specific to ipad and I think it will probably work as well with an android tablet. If you have a chance, please try it and let us know.
If your question was not about an android table accessing a JHS server, but was instead about a native J running on the android tablet, then you should take a look at recent discussions on the chat forum. There is work being done with the gpl source for a native android J.
