WRT slowness, I guess it is due to big citation dicts being loaded
unnecessarily via search engine import. The import should probably be
done only when needed. But the best solution is to isolate the loading
of citation dicts better, which will also help for bibsched etc. Benoit
has been looking at that lately. (badzil/bibrank-lazy-loading)
WRT bibdocfile version, INSPIREDEV does include subformat (since April
2010).
