Follow-up Comment #2, task #11129 (project cdsware):

It happened during testing some branches on Gentoo/SLC4/SLC5 boxen. It
happened on one of these boxes, not on all three. But I cannot reproduce it
either now, anywhere. So maybe I was multitasking too much and I have not
upgraded intbitset properly on some box, e.g. not cleaned before rebuilding
from the same AFS sources, or something. It is a possibility.

So, please have a quick glance at the intbitset C code, and if nothing
strikes you there as a potential memory leak, then please close this ticket.

The set iterator test case gives two kinds of troubles on my setup:

a) sometimes, the memory consumption grows and grows, until the test gets
killed:

intbitset - set iterator ... Killed

b) sometimes, the test exits quickly with a failed status:

======================================================================
FAIL: intbitset - set iterator
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "./intbitset_tests.py", line 403, in test_set_iterator
    self.assertEqual(set1, tmp_set1)
AssertionError: [10, 20] != []

I can't reproduce it.

What configuration where you using?
Is this still valid?
