I've been retaining my notes from my conversation with Travis about this
from back in June on my whiteboard. I've photographed it and uploaded to

I was also working on a prototype for texkey assignment; I'll attach it
directly to this ticket.
The problem then becomes, of course, where to plug it in in the workflow.
This is where I got stalled.
