Thank you very much for your reply, Jerome. We would initially like
to pursue the option of keeping our public photo gallery as a
collection within Invenio, but I am sorry to say that apparently I
will need a little more assistance to get this working. Given the
following description of our setup and what we're trying to
accomplish, I would greatly appreciate any instructions or examples,
along with any other suggestions on how to improve our configuration.
We have a PICTURE doctype that contains several categories for various
groups within our lab (for example, CESR, CMS, ERL, ...). The
"experiment" field is filled in with the chosen category, and the
record becomes a part of the "CESR Pictures," "CMS Pictures," "ERL
Pictures," etc. collection. All of these collections are restricted,
and any member of our lab may submit new pictures to these collections.
We would like to have a simple way for members of our "photoadmin"
role to label some pictures as public, which then makes them *also*
appear under the "Public Pictures" collection. Just to clarify, we
would like Public records to be available both in the "Public
Pictures" collection and in the individual restricted collection.
