The demo users are example users that are used by CDS Invenio when running regression tests in order to verify the functionality of the system. They are not a security hole at all because they disappear if you drop the demo site. On the other hand if you decide to build your system starting from the demo site you just have to configure the WebAccess system to suit your needs. You will discover that in the "Role Administration" area of WebAccess Admin there are a bunch of roles already setup in the demo site. Those roles are just examples. You have to adjust them to your needs (and you have to add users you want to associate a given role to, and remove references to the demo site user: e.g. [email protected] belongs to bookcurator, [email protected] to curator, and so on (these users depend on the version of CDS Invenio you've installed.
