You just helped my twice today. I have done a $ chmod -R g+w * on /opt/cds-invenio/var/ folder, previously was only on /opt/cds-invenio/var/data/. Was my mistake. My apache group is www, and looks like it works quite good right now, thanks. On the other side, what's this " by logging as one of the demo users" , I don't know about that. I've not seen any reference on the documentation that I have read, can you give me a hint or a url where I can go and get some information about this demo users? Are this demos users a security hole? I've tested your installation by logging as one of the demo users. It seems that the wrong url is only displayed in the message while it is not really used. However I've noticed that your installation has still problems of file system rights: note that the apache user (e.g. "www-data" or "apache" depending on your Operating System) should be able to read and write in all the /opt/cds-invenio/var/ folder.
