This has now been handled, and an r2 is scheduled for Dec 26. Yay!

Since SRM seems to be functional again, I think we should proceed with
getting an etch 2.6.23 going. I don't think we should postpone for
2.6.24's availability (esp since we don't know what new issues it may
bring, and sid availability is a decided prerequisite).

As for the scheduler issue(s), I'm not sure what they are, or if they
are already resolved by fixes I've seen being brought in my
2.6.23.y. If there's is a bug/bugs for those issues, I'd appreciate
