This helps us to better test whether mappings between logical field concepts and physical MARC tag storage space are really flexible and configurable. (The goal is to allow very flexible MARC configuration, so that Invenio can cover any local MARC needs relatively easily. However, we are still not there, some parts of the code assume that certain MARC tags play certain defined roles.) Summa summarum: the above URLs show just some possibilities of how things can be set up, but we aim to be very open and flexible so that we could cover any needed scenario.
