The issue with 2.7.4 is that there is a problem with one of the dependencies for that version, distutils I think. Jiri should be able to confirm the exact issue. Regarding 2.6 I have tested it for Labs (SLC6), and, with some patching, the pu branch works. For PyLD I do not intend to send a patch upstream, as they do not intend on supporting Python 2.6 any more, see https://github.com/digitalbazaar/pyld/pull/20 . Please also take note of: https://github.com/jirikuncar/invenio/issues/93 I am on the same page with Tibor that we should consolidate our efforts into just one solution for this (invenio-kickstart, vagrant and/ or official documentation instructions).
