I was already convinced about those advantages, but 1.0.0-r0 was
released one year ago (http://invenio-software.org/blog/archive) and we
were expecting an official release shortly after.  Alas, no joy yet ;-(
Are you still recommending this 1.0.0-r0?  Should we wait for the
official one?  (I'm careful not to ask for a date... ;-)

We have smaller services in those servers that have been waiting for a
Debian upgrade to be deployed (ex., Redmine, newer git releases, etc.).
Moreover, we'll have to upgrade both anyway.  My current thinking was to
test this as-to-aas patch and upgrade Debian in the next few weeks.
