Please wait for the official v1.0.0. As we discussed in another thread, we are switching to a time-dependent release model, so there should be no more such huge delays anymore. (Ahem.) Therefore you can expect the release of v1.0.0 in January 2012 with a very high probability. (Meaning that if some feature is not fully ready, it will go into v1.1 release series later in the year.)
