Hello, the most appropriate way to edit records for users is via the submission, see Submit user guide http://invenio-demo.cern.ch/help/submit-guide (part "Modifying the bibliographic information for an existing record") and the WebSubmit Admin Guide http://invenio-demo.cern.ch/help/admin/websubmit-admin-guide (with particular reference to the MBI action).
