Yeah, this one only cuts some unnecessary queries, as we talked about it. You still have too many queries being executed. I did not have time yet to look at the second workaround you posted, but the effect seemed like simply increasing the general refresh time. This may be acceptable in some situations, especially if queue is not too busy, so we may perhaps make this second refresh timeout configurable.
