Hi!

If you check out the search guide

    http://invenio-demo.cern.ch/help/search-guide

you'll also get quite a bunch of examples and explanations. Note
especially the differenes in "quoting", like '' vs "" vs //.

If you check out

http://invenio-demo.cern.ch/search?p=

and just expand the "any field" dropdown you can see a list of all
fields to search on stock invenio without any modifications. Just use
the words listed there as your search operator, e.g.

    author:ellis and title:thermal

If you have an installed invenio you might want to check out

    http://yourhost.org/admin/bibindex/bibindexadmin.py

(once logged in as admin) to see all definitions for indices and
logical fields.

And in case you think you need more indices or logical fields e.g.
like we use it on join2 instances
(https://bib-pubdb1.desy.de/search?cc=Publication+Database&p=, again
in the any fields drop down) you might want to note, that we actually
use scripts to set that up from files instead of clicking around in
some GUI. If this would be helpful feel free to ask, our repo is (not
yet) publicly available.
