Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reviews project proposals or plan to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects. Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of a project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget. Reviews status reports prepared by project members, and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, client, or others. Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems *Additional Information:* ** - Program / Project Manager with 15+ years experience, preferably in the data or financial services industry. - The candidate will be required to manage a $10M+ program that is comprised of a number of data operations, data management and IT projects. Responsibilities include: o project budget cost accounting (managing actuals and estimates in partnership with Finance) o project communications (weekly status reporting plus reporting to the program steering committee and executive management) o managing the individual projects in the program in conjunction with the IT project manager and Data product owner - Ensuring that overall project milestones are defined - Ensuring that the IT and data groups have appropriate action plans in place to meet the milestones - Managing weekly project status meetings, action items and issues - Working with offshore operations partner to ensure staff are ramped-up and trained according to the milestones o Working with the data quality organization to ensure appropriate program, project and operational metrics are in place Candidate should have excellent organizational skills, be very detail orientated. At the same time, the candidate must be a big picture thinker who is continually aware of the parts that make up the whole, what the gaps are and how they need to be filled. They have to have the ability to drive the program forward as a leader.
