*Job Description:* *Position – SCRUM Master/Project Manager* *Location – San Ramon **CA* *Duration – 24+ Months* *Role Summary/Purpose:* The SCRUM Master will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery management of Scrum teams. The candidate will ensure agreed working practices are followed for the continuous delivery of valuable software. He or she will facilitate team discussion and remove or escalate impediments to team progress. This person will help publish sprint burn-down (and other) metrics for use in tracking progress against budget forecasts and subsequent iteration planning. *Essential Responsibilities: * The SCRUM Master will work in an Agile product development environment, defined by the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). • Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum framework • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments raised during the Sprint • Facilitating daily Stand-ups; Sprint Planning, Retrospective, Review • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog. • Taking responsibility for the Scrum team’s commitment for the Sprint and communicating progress towards the release scope goals *Qualifications/Requirements: * • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management • Approximately 3 year experience as a SCRUM Master, Project Leader, Project/Program Manager • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Continuous Deployment, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games • Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal English communications. *Desired Characteristics* • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management • First or Second level Scrum Master Certification (CSP, PSM) • 5+ year experience as a SCRUM Master, Project Leader, Project/Program Manager • Experience with techniques for valuing and ordering a Product Backlog • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc • Experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc) • Previous experience as a team lead • Excellent communication and coaching skills *Thanks & Regards,* Rahul Agarwal Technology Resource Group Inc. 3736 Hills-Dale Court Santa Clara, CA Work: 408-709-1760; Ext:932 Email: [email protected] GTalk/Skype: ra.usstaffing || YM: rahulkabeer -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "project managment" group.
