*Role : AWS Cloud platform engineer* *Location : Chicago- IL (Onsite Day 1)* *Visa : NO H1 Transfers* *Job Roles / Responsibilities: * 10+ years overall experience with atleast 4+ years in AWS and minimum of 2+ years in Devops on AWS Strong understanding of AWS foundation - VPC, Compute, Storage, Network & Security Ability to provision infrastructure using Cloud Formation or Terraform 2+ years of working knowledge on Chef or Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins Understanding of GIT, CI/CD pipeline is added plus Hands on knowledge of Python or PowerShell or Node.JS Strong Administration skills in Linux and/or Windows Executing and troubleshooting application deployment procedures Development of and continual improvement of automation and procedures Analyzing and supporting infrastructure in AWS Monitoring system performance and recommend corrective action. Documenting current environment and ongoing maintenance of documentation Collaborate with product owners, developers, and support staff to ensure continuous and reliable delivery of service This person will be part of a team of Cloud Engineers who will supply each capability team with their cloud expertise and AWS proficiency to build and deploy scalable cloud solutions. The Cloud engineers will work with the solution and security architects, as well as the capability lead, to solve business problems using AWS services and deliver the CFT (Cloud Formation Templates) plus necessary serverless functions to automate their creation. These engineers should be AWS certified and possess the necessary experience to make informed programmatic decisions in the AWS cloud.
