*Role : Azure DevOps Engineer (APIM)* *Location : **Worcester - MA (**REMOTE**)* *Visa : NO H1 Transfers* *Job Roles / Responsibilities: * *seeking an Azure Application Modernization Engineer who will help clients transform their business and solve complex transformation challenges. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of application design, systems design, and Azure Platforms.* *What are the top 3 Must Haves for this role?1. API debuggingResponsibilities:• Design and develop Azure cloud-native, secure, and distributed applications founded on cloud architecture best practices including but not limited to: AKS, microservices, REST APIs, relational and NoSQL backends, and messaging systems and interfaces.• Assist in the creation of a backlog of stories centered on continuous modernization of the applications in scope.• Complete tasks and stories assigned to you in the backlog.• Tenaciously champion core behaviors like collaboration, communication, and ownership.• Coordinate with project managers, business analysts, developers, operations teams to understand platform requirements, the system & data, and evangelize ways to drive quality and value to the client stakeholders• Champion the establishment and continued use of Azure best practices• Provide training and coaching as needed to teams modernizing and transforming applications.• Support release planning preparation and event facilitation• Build high-performing teams across development, quality assurance, and infrastructure.• Share best practices for design & development.• Drive the team’s triaging capability by taking on challenging problems not understood by front-line support teams• Continuously review the technology landscape and advise clients on emerging technology solutions to drive differentiation in our services value proposition• Evangelize the MBG and Microsoft Technologies both internally and externally (clients, social, events)Desired Skillsets:• Experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps Services• Experience with enterprise-level software delivery and release management practices• Experience in configuring/administering Azure Services, Kubernetes, or other• Experience with modern cloud architecture patterns and approaches.• Ability to create and effectively deliver technology solution presentations to address specific customer needs• Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, Agile, and deployments/configurations and definition/evangelism of best practices/standards• Demonstrated expertise in architecting, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements while evangelizing integration methodologies and helping business case justification to C-level executives• Development experience in languages such as C#, Javascript, Python, Go, Rust, or others.• Deep practice experience in modernizing applications into PaaS, Containers, Kubernetes, Serverless, or other modern cloud technologies.• Advanced Systems Design• Experience with micro-services or cloud-based architectures for enterprise solutions• Development (AZ-204, AZ-400) and/or Azure Solution (AZ-30x) related certifications• Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
