There is a bias in your method: you look for projects with lot of data in kB. Games usually contains sound and images, which takes lot of space. Their size does not reflect necessarily their maturity.
Of course it is totally biased :). BTW, what an 'activity measure' should be ? Those number seem interesting (and at least independent on the size of the project) :
* frequency of commits
* frequency of file additions in the download area
* frequency of ML posts
(these 3 parameters should be reported to the number of members in the project)
* frequency of home page consultation, downloads (ie. popularity)
* date of last event (to downgrade stalled projects)
* ?
