Why "a program"? When we speak about software, we do not necessarily
talk about _a_ program, we can be talking about several software.

"computer program" or "program"? When, the computer is implicit in
"program", but why not going explicit, I'm not against.

So in the end, it would be "When we speak about software, we usually
mean computer program".
