This machines is plugged to two switches, on is "managed" (Cisco thing) and can be somewhat explored for network problems, the other is not but can be upgraded. I'll plan to do some work on this, but right now Petzi is the only machine having such troubles on my network. I'd like to believe that it is related to this machine (and frankly Could you give a transcript of the commands you run to see the problem and fix it next time you encounter it ?
