Dear all,

I am trying model two 6 DOF rigid bodies being pushed apart by springs.
The springs are fixed to one of the two objects and not allowed to rotate
relative to it. On the other object they are pinned and allowed to rotate
but not translate.
The springs will push the objects apart and resist relative translation and
rotation. I would like assign the spring stiffness in the y direction that
is different than stiffness
in the x direction.

Is there a way to give a TSDA link different spring properties / forces in
the x, y, and z directions of one the markers it is connected to?
If not, what methods could be used to align a spring element with the x
axis of one of the markers and measure the reaction forces needed to keep
it aligned?

Thanks in advance,
Dash
