It may be helpful to tell us what you did exactly.  Anyway, keep in mind that 
GetRot() returns a quaternion representing the rotation with respect to the 
global reference frame.
Why would you only expect small yaw angles?! Depending on what maneuver your 
vehicle is undergoing, that can be anything.

I am trying to get the vehicle Rotation matrix by using the function 
GetVehicle().GetRot() and calculating the roll pitch and yaw angles.

I get Yaw angles ranging  from -180 degrees to +180degrees which i feel is not 
realistic because yaw angles are only a few degrees in general.

Can you help if I am doing wrong somewhere?
