iya, ini emang salah satu penyakit orang indo yg gigel alias gila gelar. dulu saya pernah cerita ttg orang jepang yg lagi ngerjain proyek di indonesia. begitu si jepun liat daftar nama counterpartnya di indo, dia ter heran2. "johny san, di daftar saya ini orang indonesia koq nama depannya pake Ir semua? apakah mereka masih ada hubungan kekerabatan?" ga tahan deh saya ngakak denger komentar si jepun yg serius itu. makanya saya juga spontan ngakak baca id yahoo nya si ingsinyur njoo ini. jadi inget komentar si jepun itu soalnya. umumnya orang yg demen pasang gelar berderet itu memang tidak punya keahlian apa2. jadi buat nutupin kebegoannya, ya dia pasanglah gelar ber deret2 biar orang yg lebih bego dari dia percaya kalo dia pinter.
dulu habibie pernah mengusulkan untuk menghilangkan budaya pasang titel ini karena dia juga gerah melihat namanya dipasangin gelar berderet sama wartawan. titel hanya boleh dibacakan saat orang itu jadi pembicara seminar misalnya, untuk menunjukkan kredibilitas saja. tapi keliatannya usulan habibie dianggap angin lalu. wartawan yg tolol2 itu juga malah turut membudayakan pencantuman gelar berderet. nyantumin titel di business card, apalagi ditempelin di email address? buset dah... itu hal terkonyol yg pernah gue liat dari orang yg gila gelar! --- In [email protected], Andrea Rae <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Oh kalo bicara title aku sempat ingat waktu aku balik ke Indo gak lama lalu.
