Dec 16, 2005 Indonesia taps into Korean nuclear expertise JAKARTA - State-owned electricity company PLN will team up with the Korea Electric Power Corp and the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co to carry out a feasibility study on building the country's first nuclear power plant. The nuclear power plant was expected to solve the country's problem of power supply shortages, PLN primary energy generation director Ali Herman Ibrahim said. Ali said a memorandum of understanding had been signed with the two Korean companies to carry out the feasibility study, to be completed in a year.
