An Urgent Appeal The Hindu Janajagruti Samit (HJS) is inviting
organization of exhibition depicting atrocities committed on Kashmiri Pandits
and Hindus in Bangladesh called F.A.C.T. (Foundation Against Continuing
Terrorism) in Mumbai, Thane and New Mumbai area. The area and population to be
covered is very large and the cost to arrange a place for three days is beyond
HJS's reach. It would be a great help if place could be made available for
putting up the exhibition.
HJS will continue arranging the exhibition in other places in
Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa and else where. HJS welcomes organizations or group

Muslims conducted a brutal genocide ofHindus in Kashmir, which is a part of the
so-called secular Bharat (India). Our political parties playing politics in the
name of 'minority' rights have chosen to turn a blind eye to the horrible

The HJS is organizing live exhibitions of this Hindu genocide in various
states in order to acquaint the general public with the true story of Hindus
who have fallen prey to Pak-sponsored terrorism. The pictures displayed in
these exhibition have been made available by Panun Kashmir, an association of
Kashmiri Pandits and the FACT (The Foundation Against Continuing Terrorism).

Dipenjara Seumur Hidup
New Delhi (ANTARA News) - Pengadilan India, hari Sabtu, menjatuhkan
hukuman penjara seumur hidup terhadap 14 orang karena terlibat
pembantaian terhadap 116 Muslim selama satu bulan kerusuhan yang
terjadi di India Timur pada 1989.
Insiden yang paling parah dalam kekerasan sektarian tersebut terungkap
enam pekan kemudian, ketika burung-burung manyar mengelilingi sesuatu
yang diduga hamparan kembang kol, namun ternyata kuburan masal.
Para pelaku yang pada bulan lalu dinyatakan bersalah, antara lain
untuk pembunuhan dan keributan, dijatuhi hukuman seumur hidup oleh
pengadilan di Bhagalpur, negara bagian Bihar, tempat terjadinya
pembantaian itu, kata kantor berita Press Trust of India (PTI).
Enam dari 24 terdakwa, meninggal saat proses hukum yang berlangsung
secara maraton, sedangkan empat lainnya kabur.
Sekitar 1.800 orang, kebanyakan Muslim, tewas dalam rangkaian
bentrokan dan pembakaran, selain itu, puluhan ribu orang kehilangan
tempat tinggal.
Kerusuhan meletus saat kaum Hindu nasionalis melakukan upacara untuk
mendukung pembongkaran mesjid di lokasi yang dianggap suci oleh kaum
Hindu.
Gerombolan Hindu akhirnya menghancurkan masjid di kota Ayodhya pada
1992, dan makin memicu kerusuhan antar umat agama sehingga
sedikit-dikitnya dua ribu orang tewas, demikian AFP.(*)
