Hello everyone,

The first release candidate of Prometheus 2.37 is out!

Prometheus 2.37 is the first Long-Term Supported release of Prometheus,
it will be supported for _at least_ 6 months. See the approximative
schedule and explanations here:
https://prometheus.io/docs/introduction/release-cycle/

In Prometheus 2.37.0-rc.0, we have a new service discovery: Nomad's new
built-in service discovery is the 27th service discovery mechanism
supported by Prometheus (https://www.nomadproject.io/).

A long standing annoying bug has been fixed that would cause the
alertmanager targets to stop being refreshed when lots of alerts were
queued.

Other fixes include `promtool check config` status code fix, and
`__scrape_timeout__` and `__scrape_interval__` labels will now be respected
after a reload, as intended.

The v2.37.0-rc.0 can be found in the usual locations:

- See the full changelog & grab the binaries:

- See https://quay.io/repository/prometheus/prometheus?tab=tags and
