Is that for the metrics returned by <alertmanager>:9093/metrics ?
If so, then that's mainly for aggregate alerting statistics ("how many
notifications did I sent to pagerduty? What was the distribution of
latencies?"), silences, and alertmanager's internal health (e.g. cluster
gossip).
