When you install PDF writer , all it does is add a new printer driver which
is called Acrobat PDF Writer. This is printing to a pdf file of your choice
... Obviously you can select any of the installed printers from any program on
your computer, so you can print PDF from ANY application if you have PDF
Writer installed. PDF Writer was available for download on the Adobe website
and was free to use if you had purchased any other Adobe product, like
Photoshop, etc. PDF Writer recognizes the other Adobe passwords at
installation.
