You may have specified a track width in your PCB directive that is to wide
for the pin you are trying to route, i.e. if there are adjacent pins in
close proximity to the pin you are routing, and the track width is set for a
wide track it may be shorting to the pin or pins next to it, if you have
your interactive routing mode set for "avoid obstacle" (under Tools,
Preferences) it may not be able to initialize the autoroute net function.

Try changing the track width or change the interactive routing mode to
"ignore obstacle".
