Ian, and Geoff Thanks for the feedback regarding the 3D Viewer. I personally have found it to be a "nice toy" for my purposes. It works at a reasonable speed both on my laptop - 3D acceleration with only 2MB video, 333MHz and 800x600 active 12" display, 160MB RAM - and also on a 600ishMHz desktop with 128MB ram and Intel815 (4MB) video acceleration. Mind you, maybe my expectations are not that high. No crashing - I'm happy.
I have downloaded the 21day trial 3D add-on that was suggested and will look at the comparison. Thanks again Liane.
