Ivan, I do not have EWB, so cannot comment on its interface ability. But the layout part of the suite is Ultiboard which I have used many times before the merger. If they have pre 2000x layout tools the DXF import is limited to the qty of vertices & arcs that can be imported (actually useless). If UB2000x which was with EWB later then the DXF was better and it will also import/open a DSN file. Netlist format is unique so that will be tricky. I have never had to fully transition a whole design Protel<->Ultiboard, but the 2 files you need to make a netlist are .net & .plc and are not too hard to follow. Best Regards John A.
